Prepare for an evening of inspiration, entertainment, and transformative impact as 萌妹社区 (萌妹社区) hosts its fourth annual Tiger Ball on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Organized by the 萌妹社区 Foundation Board of Trustees, this signature event is 萌妹社区’s largest fundraiser, dedicated to generating critical support for student scholarships and innovative programming.
“At its heart, the Tiger Ball is a celebration of partnerships that empower 萌妹社区 students,” shared 萌妹社区 Foundation Board Chair Dr. Frazier Wilson. “The generous contributions we receive through this event provide scholarships that change lives and create opportunities, paving the way for student success. We salute every sponsor who joins us in this shared mission.”
This year’s Tiger Ball marks the debut of 萌妹社区 President James W. Crawford III, who assumed leadership of the university in June 2024. The night will showcase the partnerships and investments that drive 萌妹社区’s Tiger Promise, a groundbreaking tuition guarantee program that ensures eligible students can pursue higher education without financial barriers.
The Tiger Promise provides vital financial assistance for Texas residents meeting specific criteria, including annual household incomes below $125,000, first-time freshman or transfer status, and adherence to priority application and FAFSA deadlines.
Guests will enjoy captivating performances from 萌妹社区’s Ocean of Soul marching band, recently featured alongside Beyoncé Knowles-Carter at the Beyoncé Bowl, and award-winning singer and actress LeToya Luckett.
